We Are At War

And legacy media asks you not to pay attention

It’s 7PM on a Tuesday. I didn’t plan to write about how the war began. But as of this writing, almost no one else is talking about the #protest at the #treasury, and as an independent journalist and historian against fascism — I feel someone must.

At 5PM on February 4th, 2025, Democratic Senators and other people who do not want to watch the nation burn as fuel for tech bro billionaires gathered in protest outside the Treasury Department. For the first time, they united to demand justice. And you literally could not find it in the news, anywhere.

Senators took to the podium — Raskin, Pressley, Warren, Can Hollen, even Chuck Schumer came out to protest.

But you couldn’t see it on MSNBC or CNN or ABC. In fact, they were focused on an empty press room where Trump was supposed to be talking — but had not yet arrived. Meanwhile:
